Theodore F. Baker, age 77, of 816 Melrose Street, Bluefield, WV, passed away after a long battle of Leukemia on Friday, October 16, 2009 at home.
Born on April 1, 1932 in Rocky Gap, VA, he was a son of the late Robert and Virginia Wiley Baker. He had been a resident of Bluefield for 34 years and was a retired meat cutter supervisor for the area Acme grocery stores. He was a active member and a deacon at Edgemont Baptist Church in Bluefield.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Hunt Baker; and 3 brothers, Garland, Roy, and Elmer Baker.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Ken Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
