Rickey James Boyd Clower

Rickey James Boyd Clower, age 59, of Montcalm, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2009 from injuries sustained in a structure fire in Montcalm. Born on March 29, 1950 in McComas, he was a son of the late Jaybe and Louise King Clower. He had been a lifelong resident of Montcalm. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Destiny Clower. Survivors include four daughters, Kari Lynn Gaskin of Florida, Rosanna Dee Laird of NC, Mylissa Louise Merecer of NC, and Billie Jean Smith of NC; eight grandchildren; four brothers, Raymond Allen Clower of WV, Michael Clower of NJ, Robin Clower of NJ, and Jaybe Clower, II of WV; and sisters, Brenda Sue Cordell of WV, and Vickey Lynn Clower of NJ. Memorial services will be conducted on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell. Private burial will take place at the Tabernacle Hill Cemetery in Montcalm. Friends may call on Friday from 2-3 PM at the funeral home.
