Danny Mark Surface

Danny Mark Surface, age 51, of Route 3 Box 97, Princeton, WV, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at a Princeton hospital. Born on November 3, 1957, he was a son of Clifford Danny Surface of Princeton and the late Ollie Jean Lambert Surface. He had been a resident of Mercer County for all of his life and was a veteran of the US Marines. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Clifford Danny and Judy Surface of Princeton; a daughter, Shawna Barie of Bluefield; two grandchildren Haley and Dayanna Barie; three brothers, Matthew Surface of Hickory, NC, Dr. Luke Surface of Connecticut, and Stephen Surface of Princeton; and a sister, Julie Stennet of Princeton. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. James Milam officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where friends of the family will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
