Theodore R. Mills, Jr.

Theodore R. Mills, Jr., age 65 of 7578 Abbs Valley Road, Bluefield, VA, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2009 at a Bluefield hospital. Born on July 21, 1944 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Theodore R. Mills, Sr. and Vivian Laws Mills. He had been a lifelong resident of the Bluefield area and was of the Baptist faith. He was a supply clerk for the Noland Company. Survivors include: Wife: Gerlene Gross Mills of the home 2 sons: Jerm Mills of King, NC Nathan B. Mills of Bluefield, VA 3 daughters: Rebecca A. Williams of Richlands, VA Sarah L. Miles of Pinnacle, NC Helen D. Mills of Pocahontas, VA 7 grandchildren 1 brother: Larry W. Mills of Bluefield, VA 2 sisters: Helen D. Kitts of Bluefield, VA Patsy Grose of Bossevain, VA Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Reginald Blakewood officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
