Arlene Galkin Pannell

Arlene Galkin Pannell, 70, of 842 Big Branch Road Falls Mills, Virginia passed away on Friday, August 14, 2009 at her home. She was born on August 30, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York to the late David Galkin and Lillian Harrison Galkin. Arlene attended the Brushfork Baptist Church and had been a resident of Falls Mills for the past 35 years. She was a retired Wal-Mart employee with 16 years of service as a cashier. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Robert Galkin. Survivors Include:Her husband: Charles Wayne Pannell of the home Two Sons: Jonathan Roger Pannell of Clintwood, Virginia and Jason Kyle Pannell of Falls Mills, Virginia. One Brother:Stanley Galkin and wife Marcie of Stevensville, Maryland.One Sister: Joan Bedell and husband Jay of Silver Springs, Maryland One sister in law:Sandy Bethesda And four grandchildren Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with the Rev. Jim Drake officiating the service. Burial will follow the service at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Virginia. Friends and family may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia on Monday, August 17, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friends and family will be serving as pallbearers
