Joyce Lee Musick

Joyce Lee Maxey Musick, age 75, of PO Box 1176, Bramwell, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Princeton Health Care in Princeton. Born on May 8, 1934 in Wolfe, she was a daughter of the late Earl B. and Hattie Gray Handshaw Maxey. She had been a resident of Bramwell since 1983 and was a member of the Maybeury Church of God. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Allen “Dab” Musick; 2 sisters and 7 brothers. She was the last surviving member of her family. Survivors include: 2 sons: Ronald Lee Musick of Bramwell Claude A. “Jimmy” Musick, Jr. of Bramwell 3 daughters: Mary Ann Honosky and husband Theodore of Princeton Brenda Sue York and husband Johnny of Bramwell Donna Kay Garrett of Warthen, GA 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Ronald Miller and Rev. Dollie Sexton officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where Johnny York, Anthony Honosky, Johnny York, Jr. Bobby York, Jimmy Ray Musick, Jr. and James Garrett, Jr. will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
