Donald Daniel Henderson

Donald Daniel “Jake” Henderson, age 78, of Keystone (PO Box 793, Northfork), passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the Westwood Center in Bluefield, VA. Born on October 17, 1930 in Keystone, he was a son of the late Thomas E. and Kathelen Shanks Henderson. He had been a lifelong resident of Keystone and was of the Methodist faith. He was a retired fine coal operator from Eastern Associated Coal having worked for 42 years and was a member of the UMWA. Survivors include: Wife: Carmilla Lucosh Henderson of the home 1 son: Donald D. Henderson, Jr. and wife Deanna of Dobson, NC 1 daughter: Cathy Henderson Bell of Statesville, NC Grandchildren: Jacob Allen Bell, Dylan Thomas Henderson, Lyndsey Caroline Henderson Mother in law: Concetta Serge Lukosh of Kimball Graveside services were conducted on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 11:00 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where family members officiated.
