Mitzie Lynn Rose

Mitzie Lynn Rose, age 28, of 1292 Stoney Ridge Road, Bluefield, WV, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at a Charleston hospital following a lengthy illness. Born on April 14, 1980 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of Vernon and Ruth Davis Rose of Bluefield. She had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and Anawalt and was of the Holiness faith. She was a graduate of Bluefield High School. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nancy Payne and her uncle Gene Rose and Henry Rose Survivors include her parents, Vernon and Ruth Rose of Stoney Ridge Road; a sister, Priscilla Rose and Tony Pilkins and daughter Krista Rose of Bluefield; a brother, Vernon Rose and Crystal Kipfinger one daughter Destiny and two sons Caleb and Tyler Rose of Bluefield; grandparents, Jimmy and Mildred Stacy of Anawalt; a special aunt and uncles, Mark and Joyce Bolen of Beckley, Gene and Gina Luster of Bluefield, Alex and June Rose of Pageton; several cousins, nieces, nephews , aunts and uncles; and special friends , Jessica Bailey of Princeton, Mike Hicks of Princeton, and Marina Bailey of Portsmouth, VA. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Shirley Mitchem officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where Jim Stacy, Shawn Presley, Larry Bailey, Jr., John Lester, Adam Lester, Mark Bolen Jr., Bo Davis and Keith Davis will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
