Bobby Ray Brummett, III

Bobby Ray Brummett, III, age 24, of 380 Jones Hill Road, Freeman, WV, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2009 at his residence. Born on December 13, 1984 in Bluefield, he was a son of Bobby Ray Brummett, Jr. of Freeman and the late Carrie Jane Sizemore Brummett Batton. He had been a lifelong resident of Freeman and was a graduate of Montcalm High School. At school, he was a member of the marching band, the chess club and the drama club. He enjoyed reading, poetry, and was a philosopher. He formerly worked as a metal fabricator for the Blizzard Company. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine; and his maternal grandparents, Howard and Ruby Sizemore. Survivors in addition to his father include: Paternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brummett of Jones Hill, Freeman 1 sister: Ashley Brummett of Bluefield, VA Several aunts, uncles and cousins and a host of friends Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 7:30PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with family members officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00-7:30 at the funeral home. Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday at 12:00 PM at the Belcher Cemetery in Coaldale. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 11:30 AM. Shawn Krondon, Rusty Krondon, Paul Grose, Chris Hubbard, Steven Chambers, and Damien Goldman will serve as pallbearers.
