Carl Rudolph Coeburn

Carl Rudolph Coeburn, age 73, of 1002 29th Street, Vienna, WV, and formerly of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Parkersburg. Born on July 12, 1936 in Mercer County, he was a son of the late Carl Lee and Bessie L. Brown Coeburn. He had been a resident of Vienna for 20 years and was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired construction worker and coal hauler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Bailey; and two brothers, Phillip and Walter Coeburn. Survivors include: 2 sisters: Brenda Blankenship of Bluefield Janet Coeburn of Ratcliff, KY Several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Rev. David Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at the Brewsterdale Cemetery in Brewsterdale, WV where nephews and great nephews will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Monday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
