Angie Mae Foster Biggs, age 95, of the Maples, Bluefield, departed this life on Thursday, September 17, 2009. She was born on November 10, 1913 in Chattaroy, WV, to Charles E. and fanny R. Foster. She was a beautician in Bedford, VA for 41 years. She moved to Bramwell in 1983 where she was a member of the Bramwell Presbyterian Church and the Millionaire Garden Club. Mae can best be remembered by the way she touched the hearts of so many with her love and kindness. She was preceded in death by her husband, George O. Biggs; and brothers, Charles E. Foster, Jr., Richard R. Foster, Samuel Frederick Foster, James H. Foster and Jack W. Foster. Left to cherish her memory are: Daughter: Priscilla A. Cox and husband Basil of Boones Mill, VA Brothers: William H. Foster and wife Juanita of Bluefield, VA David P. Foster and wife Betty of Bluewell Granddaughters: Amy Godfryt Ondrus and husband Tom, Jean Anne Godfryt Goodwin and husband Jeff Step grandchildren: Heather and Michael Cox 3 great grandsons and one great-granddaughter Many loving nieces and nephews and extra special friends on staff at the Maples Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Rev. Stephen Rector officiating. Burial will follow with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 – 10:45 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.
