Sarah Ruth Barbery

Sarah Ruth Davis Barbery, age 71, of 481 Bay Harbour Road, Mooresville, NC, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2009 at a Huntersville, NC nursing home. Born on December 6, 1937 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Martha Little Davis. She had been a resident of Mooresville for 12 years and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Beaver High School and National Business College and worked as a computer programmer in Greensboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Jane Dickens and Judy Davis. Survivors include her: Husband: Paul S. Barbery of the home 1 son: Kevin Barbery of Mooresville, NC 1 brother: Frank Davis, Jr. of Bluewell 2 sisters in law: Mayne Hopkins of Logan and Edwina Evans of Logan 3 nephews: Michael Barbery of Manassas, VA David Barbery of Dallas, VA Paul Dickens of Sanford, NC 2 nieces: Ann Austin of Sanford, NC Michelle Berry of Atlanta, GA Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 3, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. D. Homer Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00-10:30 AM at the funeral home.
